Review of Albert Nobbs (2011) by David G — 16 Dec 2011

Odd is an understatement when describing this film. To reveal the real oddities behind it would be to spoil the plot but let's just say it's well made with some great acting, a truly amazing performance from Glenn Close, and a fairly easy watch overall.

It doesn't really go anywhere and seems to plod along a bit in places and the ending is both weird and confusing. It's also a little TOO hard to believe that certain people in this movie posing as other people wouldn't be found out, especially in one case, but it's not bad for a one time watch.
