Albert Nobbs is a shockingly excellent film about a woman who is dressed in drag and is forced to live as one. Glen Close plays the excellently masculin Albert Nobbs who works at (Jim) Morrisons Hotel has big dreams. She wants to open a big shop in the corner of town. She also meets another woman dressed as a man as he see in a very great scene where "he." shows her his breasts. I found this unexpected and original. It was not silly. If this were done in a parody film that would be silly. She and Albert do have a somewhat short bonding scenes. But boy are these scenes amazing. There is one scene where they were dresses and go out as themselves woman for the first time since. Albert feels free as they walk on the beach. I loved this scene so much because after the walk we get a powerful message about be who you want to be. Those are the best messages and they will never get any old. The crew of the Morrision Hotel are interesting and intriging. There are excellent performences, amazing makeup and a very inspired script. Albert Nobbs is a very underrated oscar nominated film. Give this film a chance because you will learn alot.

98/100 A.
