Review of Albert Nobbs (2011) by John B — 04 Oct 2012

I'm a little puzzled by the lack of love for this film. The standard review is that Glenn Close gave a tremendous performance but the rest of it was less than stellar. I strongly disagree. This is a very compelling story that investigates gender identity at a time when it wasn't comfortable to expose one's leanings.

Very good..despite what the critics say.
