Review of Aladdin (2019) by Frozenfevertina — 26 May 2019
I really enjoyed this film not that it beats the animated classic but is it's own film and was a lot of fun with some funny moments that me laughing til I had tears. the famous whole new world scene was so beautiful and I have to say with that revamped cover and full scene instead of clips online was better than the animated version's sequence.
I found so beautiful that I teared up a bit. All of the actors did so well. Will Smith made a good Genie made it his own. I mean robin williams set the bar super high and who would want a shot for shot thing anyway?no one can copy Robin Williams, a legend The CGI actually wasn't bad.
all of the music fits the pace of the movie. No one in theater I was in seemed dissapointed with the remake either and there were quite few other people. I think the character princess jasmine was given much more stronger role than the animated in terms of life goals, her costumes were so beautiful and colorful.
I loved the sarcasm too not just her character but in few other characters that's what added to the humor. I would want to see it again but I most likely will buy on blu-ray/dvd when it does come out.
I find so nice and interesting that most audiences loved it and rated higher scores than most critics on movie critic sites.
