Review of Aladdin (2019) by Ed2Co17 — 25 May 2019
I was honestly happily surprised by this movie. I didn't like a lot of things I saw in the promotional material, but let me tell you I was happy with it in the movie. I thought Jasmin and Jafar were great.
The songs were really well done and the humor was perfect for families. I saw it with a diverse audience and they seemed to love it as well. At the end there was an applause. Will Smith did a great job and the chemistry with him and Aladdin was great.
Honestly I'd say the critics are being too harsh on this movie or are unfairly comparing it to original. If you have the slightest urge to see it, I would recommend it.
