This movie is deservingly, a childhood favorite of many. In Disney's epic animated retelling of the classic magic lamp story music, comedy, and action find an easy-to-watch balance. The laughs have a nice mix of youthful and dated (Almost all the laughs are provided by Robin Williams who redeems the entire work single handedly as the Genie).
While the childhood viewing experience is blissful, an adult who grew up with it may find it shockingly shallow. Its still one of the best there is.
