Review of Aladdin (1992) by Ben H — 12 Feb 2012
This was Disney at its best, with the music, the story, and the voice talent, especially Robin Williams as the Genie. The artistry which brought India to life was spectacular, especially since this was done well before Pixar and their technological advances.
Aladdin was on the same level as the Lion King and Beauty and the Beast, right along the time period when Disney owned the box office. The music was also well done and the film moved faster than the magic carpet ride Aladdin and Jasmine rode on.
Wonderful story that is not just for the children but for all people of all ages. Excellent film.
