Review of Aladdin (1992) by James A — 21 Nov 2012
From the moment you start it, until the moment you finish it, Aladdin is a classic masterpiece in its own right. With a story that keeps you interested in every character, music that leaves you humming the songs, and voice acting that deserves special mention, this film delivers in all aspects, not just as a Disney film, but as a timeless classic for anyone to watch.
Now, I cannot make this review work without an honorable shoutout to Robin Williams, who gives the voice performance of his life in a character of his own, making you laugh for his bizarre humor, but also making you feel bad for his character's miserable circumstances.
Overall, this is my favorite Disney film and I hope to show this movie to my own kids and their kids after them. It's a definite movie to own and, hopefully, I can look forward to seeing a 3-D re-release really soon of this film with perhaps a new scene or something special thrown in.
Whatever it is, this film stands alone perfectly! I'd just as well pay to see the whole thing twice.
