Review of Aladdin (1992) by Jackson M — 18 Feb 2014
Grade - A+:
The best of the Disney Classics collection and one of my all time favourites.
Aladdin is a funny and heartfelt animated feature with a strong message about the importance of integrity. The film moves at a brisk pace (as with most Disney movies), although the story never feels disjointed or rushed.
Robin Williams was perfectly cast as Genie and steals the show from the very first scene that he's in.
Also, the songs in the movie have now reached 'classic' status, and for good reason, they are beautiful and meaningful to the story at the same time.
I adore this movie and urge anybody who hasn't seen it to make it a priority to do so.
