Review of Aladdin (1992) by Matthew F. J — 29 Jan 2015
This film is a riot from start to finish. Aladdin as a character is very interesting and fun but it's his buddy the Genie voiced by the fantastic Robin Williams that take the high prize for nut case in a film so much on the lose you will find yourself laughing pretty much all the time.
Fast paced, spectacular, the film is definitely a strong addition to the Disney repertoire. The musical numbers are fun and mad as ever, the princess is pretty as hell and the little monkey will be a big hit with the kids.
The magic flying carpet is also terrific. From start to finish the film is entertaining and even though most characters are very clichés and lack layers, you should easily be amused and have a great time watching this with your kids.
