Al Franken is a funny guy and I liked him in SNL but for a political doc, he doesn't quite mix. I saw this at the Traverse City Film Festival last weekend, although funny at parts, very dry and repetitive mostly.
If this film was a retort to FOX news and their political nonsense, then all it sounded like to me is the same bantering but with a left spin on it. Two wrongs do not make a right, and adding more to the political circus drama, does not help things at all.
