Is this the greatest animated movie ever? I would say so. One would have thought that Katsuhiro Otomo's comic is way too large to adapt in one movie, but Otomo took the heart of it and made it beat on the silver screen.
The story of two friends Kaneda and Tetsuo, and why they have to fight each other is too poignant and powerful to be missed. Neo-Tokyo must have inspired by "Blade Runner", but it's even more impressive than that.
This is the movie that must have inspired "Chronicle".
