Review of Akira (1988) by Sylvester D — 15 May 2012

I saw it at school today and to be fair I love this movie. showing the world what anime looks like. the animation looks good, the acting's rock solid (the 2001 version), the characters are memorable.

but the only thing that lacks is the story and the soundtrack, the story isn't god awful or anything, but it's so complex it never gets a hold of itself. but the soundtrack is really confusing.

I guess it was suppose to be about the human evolution. but it fails on every term. but overall I love this movie.
