Saying Akira is too violent and focusing on this subject only is just a lousy understatement,is being lazy and not really giving it the recognition it may deserve,Akira's animation is just,even for its time: Top of the line,it can't get better than that.
Storywise,yeah,it might be a little confusing and complex at times,but once the characters have a stablished role in the film,the ball starts rolling.the only shameful thing about this anime is the lack of installments,we need at least 2 or 3 episodes of this in order to digest it better!
