Review of Akira (1988) by Namiko O — 26 Jan 2011
When it's came out I watched documentary on making of movie. They were praising the fact the team used more paper(than usual back those year)in one movement of each charactors to get animation a step closer to real people movement.
That gave more creepy and disturbing image.
To the movie and it worked amazingly.
Story was a little tooo intense and blow mind for me as I was in primary school. But the same tense feeling I get from this movie hasnt change now.
