Sweet animation and a pretty solid story. Considering this was done in the late 80's, it's easy to see how it inspired and set a new standard for Japanese Anime films. I really enjoyed how the story was paced and presented.
It would be interesting to read the Manga it's based on, given that this movie is only based on part of the source material. Overall, a very enjoyable watch.
