25 years later, and Akira is still an amazing film; one of the best in the anime genre. Katsuhiro Otomo's epic vision of the future is still the gold standard in animation and storytelling, revolutionizing the medium and helping popularize it among Western fans.
I would be willing to watch it again and again.
