Review of Akira (1988) by Jack P — 30 Nov 2013
One of the most ambitious films of all time, and also one of my favourites. Pulls no punches and throws everything, from the dark, to the disturbing, to the massive, to the intense at the audience. Those how can survive this intense onslaught will have their heads spinning for hours afterwards, and will then find themselves smiling.
