Review of Akira (1988) by Parker C — 16 Jan 2015
I have one word for you: fan-fuggin'-tastic. "Akira" is a cult classic, hailing from the weird, but amazing mind of Katsuhrio Otomo, it's (in my humble opinion) the best that anime has got to offer.
From it's ingenuous, musically perfected soundtrack to it's groundbreaking animation, this is by far one of Japan's most prestigious films.
