Striking,bold and absolutely beautiful animation!.Akira fits the list of one of the most entertaining Animated movies ever made.This is arguably the father of Anime for it being a major influence by so many other Anime movies of today.
One can also argue that this is the first "Mature" Animation,taking into the account the amount of violence and rebellion seen in it and crude language which was never before seen in Western animation.
A spectacular treat for any movie lover and truly one of the best animated films of all time!
