Review of Akira (1988) by Juliet B — 06 Aug 2015

This is kind of movie you need to watch several times. It's a good movie but it's really confusing, the direction in this movie was my biggest gripe but I could don't really understand the end.

However, the animation is excellent and strong. It is Japanese animated work (It's the first anime to get 5 stars in North America) and good enough to give a good mark. The story is a highly stereotypical anime but it has got some decent artwork and an underdeveloped plot line.

This film most definitely is not for everyone.
