Review of Akeelah and the Bee (2006) by Dunn Y — 24 Feb 2008
Great feel-good movie for the whole family (with the exception of one strangely out-of-place expletive). Excellent acting. The story had a decent pace, although it did get a bit too long in some parts.
But it keeps you interested overall. Imitating Morpheus during Laurence Fishburne's parts helped out.
