Review of Akeelah and the Bee (2006) by Eric S — 03 May 2008
I loved this movie as a teacher. It showed the importance of learning to spell and how children can solve their own problems. It has perfect performances by Keke Palmer, Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne.
It had everything a good movie has- drama, flirting but especially heart. The ending is enough to make even the most cold hearted person cry.
