Review of Akeelah and the Bee (2006) by Ardita Ç — 27 May 2008
A movie with a big heart. The story might be a classic class struggle with a quite predictable ending. However, Fishburne managed to do it with an interesting twist and style. A definitely family movie.
I like the epilogue, where Akilah Anderson appreciated her neighborhood.
