Review of Akeelah and the Bee (2006) by Scott R — 04 Aug 2009
While not an exceptional movie, I thoroughly enjoyed both Laurence Fishburne and KeKe Palmer in their respective roles of tutor and apprentice. Both moving and inspirational, I'm counting this as a slightly overindulgent guilty pleasure.
