Review of Akeelah and the Bee (2006) by Leon G — 10 Sep 2010

Always saw this playing on the family channel and never could decide whether to watch it or not. well I did and I don't care of it's a kids movie I had no regrets. they did an amazing job of making a story of a spelling bee to a great drama .

I expected the fact that her coach had a dead daughter or something like that and that Akeelah would try to let Dylan win , but they were still great . I didn't expect the co-championship . this was definitely Keke Palmer at her best.

and ok I admit I kinda let out a few tears watching this xD.
