Review of Akeelah and the Bee (2006) by Amanda H — 19 Jan 2013

Although this is probably one of the most predictable movies I've ever seen, and it's pretty easily comparable to several others I can think of right off the top of my head, it's still very enjoyable.

Keke Palmer is completely charming and adorable in her role, and the rest of the cast supports her incredibly well. This is by no means a cliffhanger, but it's still a very well-made film.
