Review of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009) by Leo L — 13 Oct 2010

An interesting movie that centralizes upon Prem and Jenny, two individuals who are alike, and un-alike, in various ways. They both are vegetarians, content with the life path that they are taking, and stutter whenever deeply emotional. Prem is fortunate in having doting parents, and a trustworthy group of friends that are willing to do anything for each other. However, Jenny is adopted (at a very young age) into a family that rarely take notice of the many things that she does for them, including to the displeasure of a disgruntled mother. Prem is sneaky, conniving, and an all-around good guy but tends to get himself into some sticky situations. Jenny is kind, sweet, and considerate working at a local library. The two meet in a most peculiar setting, and Prem is instantly attracted to Jenny. The two initially form a friendship from a most peculiar situation, and later attraction grows into love for Prem. Shy and uncertain, he cannot admit his love to Jenny yet. With the help of his friends, he tries to change himself to fit what he believes is of Jenny's interests. Little does he know that the longer he takes in declaring his love, the further it sets himself apart from Jenny.

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif stars. Guest appearances by Salman Khan and Upen Patel. Worth seeing!
