Review of Airport 2013 (2014) by David S — 25 Jan 2008
This movie contains well over two hours of stuff almost happening. Confrontations are almost had, innocent civilians are almost killed, the tail of the plane almost falls off. If you've spent alot of time in the Minneapolis airport then its kind of interesting to see alot of familiar places.
I also liked counting all the things that happen in this movie that you could never see in an airport/airplane today: smoking on a plane, an old lady sneaking onto the plane and remaining undetected past takeoff, a passenger acting incredibly suspicious but no-one even approaches him because they don't want to "offend a paying customer".
Despite the fact that this movie paints the picture of why you need good airport security, it still makes me miss the old days when you didn't have to worry about all that crap. And whats with the airplane on fire on the movie poster? uhh I don't recall that ever happening in this movie.
