Review of Airport 2013 (2014) by Rhonda L — 22 Apr 2009

Definitely a film of it's day. It was interesting to see the old 707's and love boat cast moral dilemmas of the day. Shocking was the love child or abortion storyline of Dean Martin's Captain character with the Stewardess.

Pretty hard stuff for 1970 general audience picture. I think the film handedled the dilemma tastefully. This film is so cliched now having had dozens of films modelled after at, especially the Airplane! movies.

Not the greatest picture in the world but not the worst, and certainly better than anything that came after it.
