Review of Airport 1975 (1974) by Aj V — 05 Dec 2010
A half a star better than the original. Why you ask? Well because it actually features some action and spends less time with boring stories from the passengers on board and off. I constantly marvel at the enigma that is Charlton Heston and exactly how he was ever considered an actor of any great worth, despite being featured in many a great 70s film.
I think I also enjoy this effort slightly more because it was the one I saw more on late night television as I was growing up. I can't look at George Kennedy in anything and take him seriously, I just thought I'd add that in.
