A lot of random, silly ideas for getting laughs was certainly pitched to the guys who produced Airplane and I reckon they managed to fit in all of them. Swings and misses frequently but the vast amount of gags included meant that it was practically guaranteed that the occasional one would hit home.
Peaked in the middle in terms of the humour scale but came plummeting down shortly afterwards. Bear in mind that it is dated and comedy has since developed so much older generations are likely to appreciate this one.
