Review of Airplane! (1980) by Luke W — 26 May 2011
You probably know many of the jokes by heart, but there are many others that will catch you by surprise, and they're just as funny. Zucker, Abrams and Zucker have a knack for parody that could only be matched by a film like Top Secret, which is an underrated classic in my opinion.
While Airplane is a clear touchstone, the less you know about it going in, the better.
