I've seen this film more than once and still enjoy the humour in this film. The disco scene doesn't get old...the line "...don't call me Shirley..." still is fresh and "new"...Julie Hagerty may not have "made it big" or be in films still but she reminds me of Julia Roberts in some ways (her appealing look) and to an extent Julie Delpy (not just that they all have J as their first initial)...
Wow, almost universal acclaim for this film (even from the "pompous professionals")! Amazing!
