So with all these new flicks comin' at us these days, I figured I'd show you guys a film classic that happens to be one of my all-time favourite movies!
Not too sure how many folks will see this review, but screw it, I wanna talk about this comedic masterpiece called Airplane. This movie is just awesome. It was made in a time where spoof movies weren't, well, awful. It's full of great gags, perfect timing, hilarious quotes, and pop culture references that are still funny as hell, and I wasn't even born until 16 years after this movie came out. Hands down, the best part of this movie was Leslie Nielsen, who's deadpan style and brilliant comedic timing stole every scene he was in. Lloyd Bridges is also great, Robert Hays is great, Julie Hagerty is great, Peter Graves is great, everyone is freakin' great.
Airplane is awesome. Go see it. Now. Right now, dammit.
