Review of Airheads (1994) by Dave W — 31 Jan 2008
I liked the fact that this movie didn't beat you over the head with AC/DC, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and all of the other classic rock bands like School of Rock did. It's a fun movie for what it is, Busemi and Sandler bounce off each other very well as usual and for what it's worth it's the best Brendan Fraser movie I've seen (take that Crash!).
I feel like it could've ended a lot earlier and could've been a lot funnier if the band sucked at the end. The secondary performances from Michael Richards, Chris Farley and Michael McKean add some good flare as well.
A fun watch, but not a classic in the "rock and roll" genre or as a comedy.
