Significantly weakened by its constant square-jawed flag-waving which frequently verges on laughable and the layers of peril-upon-peril that often don't make sense and collectively amount to overkill.
The script is also uneven with several good actors occasionally sounding like very bad ones. Underneath all this, though, is a decent action thriller.
