Review of Air America (1990) by Corey N — 06 Feb 2010
This is a decent action comedy starring Mel Gibson and Robert Downey Jr. They both play pilots smuggling in supplies in Vietnam during the war. This of course is dangerous and leads to many situations.
Gibson and Downey are great in this film. They have great chemistry together in this. The story focus is not all on the Vietnam war. They focus more on the characters and their lives in this. But still it does reflect some of the problems with the Vietnam war.
A enjoyable movie. Well worth a watch.
