Air mythologizes the sports marketing executives behind a shoe instead of telling the more interesting and emotional story of the Jordan family who Affleck intentionally puts on the sideline here. It's still an entertaining movie thanks to a charismatic cast, but a missed opportunity.
Already the most overrated movie of the year.
