This was a tough film to really get into. There have been more than enough movies lately set in rural Texas. The pacing was way too slow in the middle, enough to put me off for the film. It gets some stars back for the performances in the movie.
Casey Affleck and Ben Foster were better than I thought they might be in this film. Rooney Mara is a versatile actress that always has a presence.
