Ain't Them Bodies Saints seems like it would be a good film, but its underdeveloped narrative and lack of emotional moments find it rather lacking. The film has a superb cast, excellent cinematography and production design, but lacks in the story department.
The players sometimes mumble and its hard to understand what is going on during the night time bits, and this movie feels like its trying to be a Terrence Malick film or Bonnie and Clyde, and it unfortunately doesn't match up to either.
