Review of Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry (2012) by Alex D — 16 Jan 2013
2012 sure was a year for great documentaries, and Ai Weiwei sure was one of the more informative. It gives great insight to a country, Chine, that we don't have that much access too not only through the eyes of a citizen but as an artist.
Working in an artistic field myself and having so much freedom to do and say what I want it is eyeopening to see a place where none of those freedoms are allowed. Ai Weiwei is an inspiration for his artwork and his activism against an oppressed society.
