Half a Kubrick movie, Half a Spielberg fantasy, A.I .stands as a marvellous sci-fi fantasy, with great effects and and a intriguing premise. Haley Joel Osment gives one of his best performances as David, but Jude Law has all the fun as Gigolo Joe.
This fascinating distopic fairy tale doesn't pale compared to Kubrick's filmography and stands out as one of the best and deepest Spielberg movies.
