Review of A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) by Paul R — 28 Apr 2011
This has to be one of the most strangest movies I have ever seen partially because its two different visions. Steven Spielberg's direction and Stanley Kubrick's vision. Yes it is a shame that Kubrick could not have lived long enough to direct it yet, we must accept to what were given to when Spielberg was one of Kubrick's closest friends who trusted him with this project.
If anything, this movie proves to us and shows the idea of how love is artificial as David is just implanted the idea of "love" yet succumbs the emotion of how love exists as a true emotion.
The ending is debatable yet it ends in a right note to show how "love" however real it may be, is always momentarily.
