Review of A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) by Faten E — 18 Jan 2012
I've already seen it over 20 times at least. It's one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen. It even motivated me to look up the original story, 'Super Toys last all Summer long' and learn more about Brian Alldis's wonderful world.
However, I was very touched by something else. By Cubrick's trust in a great work of art, wishing to have it accomplished even if through someone else. I was touched by his trust in Steven Spielberg, and also very touched by Sprielberg's devotion to his collegue by actually taking the task and dedicating it to Cubrick.
