Review of A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) by Lori B — 02 Nov 2013
I've always wondered how this movie would have looked and felt if Kubrick had directed it, but I love and appreciate it on its own merits as a Spielberg film. I haven't seen it in a very long time, and reading Ebert's analysis, I think I need to watch it again to fully understand it.
But there are so many scenes in A.I. That I remember like I saw it yesterday, and it is interesting to contemplate my human emotional response to the story of a creature who can have no true emotion. Fascinating stuff.
