Review of A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) by Samuel L — 29 Dec 2010
I saw this film for the first time as an eleven year old boy. My mom had left my family and I was still traumatized from the experience. I originally thought this film would have been a sci-fi extravaganza, which it is.
But, it is more than that, it is a sci-fi film with heart. Quite honestly, this was the first film in which I absolutely just lost it. I cried during the last twenty minutes and then some after the movie.
the ending just made me feel like I had hope. It was one of those rare films where a personal experience can connect you to a film and it has. to this day, when I put in the dvd. I am so emotional at the end that I refuse to watch it with friends because of the depth of the film and my emotions.
