So deluded with Sci-Fi that the themes of the movie drown like its depiction of Manhattan. Its acting talent kept me interested, but the story feels made up as it went along and at the end, I cant exactly say what I can take away from the film.

The concept of "If you follow your dreams, then one day you're gonna be terribly let down and 2000 years later, aliens will slap you with the cold hard truth and a false sense of reality to make you momentarily content" just wasn't worth the 2 and a half hour production.
