AI - Artificial Intelligence My review.

A very poignant and wrenching approach to a heavily debated topic about the development of Artificial Intelligence. This is a great interpretation of what could happen to this world a hundred years later or within a span of 500 years. The movie written and directed by Steven Spielberg is a tear jerker for it's heart touching visual imagery about the love shown by a man made mechanical object that even organic people cant give to their beloved.

It's about the age when man has scarce food and AI has been fully developed and half of the world is under water because of global warming and other environmental problems. The scientists achieve the creation of a fully loving Child bot which can love you back. Their experiment succeeds but up to an extent where love can turn to jealousy and un fulfilled desires. The Child Bot David wishes to be a real boy so that he can be loved by his mother. He goes in search for the blue fairy who transformed Pinocchio into a real boy. He meets another lover bot Joe on his way who offers to help him As His life was saved from the flesh eaters. The story is about the heart breaking adventures of this boy which ends him up in the ultimate realisation that his wish is beyond imagination and can never be fulfilled.

With great performances and a brilliant script by Spielberg himself this movie is an unrivalled Sci Fi Classic. Speilberg interprets the world as an inanimate place where the mortal humans themselves appear pulseless. The Visual Effects were brilliant and that 2000 years later where the ice age and the extra terrestrials come were excellently portrayed with perfection.

The Score by John Williams was excellent and it had a bit of a melancholic feel within. Some scenes are emotionally stirring and heart breaking ; with a very poignant approach Spielberg strikes the chord and shows his maestro in the Sci Fi Genre again.

This is a great movie which everyone must watch as this is an easy eye opener towards the Apocalypse which shall soon fall on us if not taken care of.
