Amazing. Breathtaking.
Magnificient soundtrack by Popol Vuh.
Unforgettable final scene.
Werner Herzog actually had to threaten Klaus Kinski at gunpoint to stay and complete this film.
And all those monkeys? Herzog stole them to shoot that scene.
